Existing participants are invited annually to re-register for their External Quality Assessment (EQA) requirements. This enables the opportunity for participants to:
- ensure their EQAs are still relevant for them
- register for any newly introduced EQAs
- update contact/address details
- be informed of charges for the schemes
EQA participation runs annually from April to March. In January, participants whom are directly registered with UK NEQAS for Microbiology, will be invited to register for the upcoming years EQA by completing an online re-registration form (which is accessed through the secure area on the website using the laboratory ID and password). Participants served through Distributors will be contacted by their Distributors in early January whom will request EQA requirements from their participants for the upcoming year.
Participants can submit their re-registration requirements between January to early March (deadline provided) to UK NEQAS Microbiology. After this time, the new details will be updated in our database.
In April/May, Certificates of Registration will be made available to all the participants whom have re-registered for their records.
Also from April/May onwards, invoices will be prepared which will be sent either directly to the participants or to the Distributors.
If you are current participant and you do not hear from us/your distributor to re-register by the end of the first week in January, then please contact us or your distributor to enquire.
